Thirstea, East Village, NYC

One of the best drinks to have during the summer is bubble tea. There may be a ton of places around the city to grab this amazing drink during those hot summer days but one of the best is Thirstea. This two year old, quaint little spot in the in the East Village near Tompkins Square Park offers snacks, teas by the cup, and packaged tea along side their bubble tea selection. They carry a wide variety of tea brands such as: The Republic of Tea, Harney & Sons and Serendipitea. This place is great to get some of the harder to find flavors such as Red Velvet, Chocolate, Vanilla Apple Hibiscus, and Harney's Paris tea. What sets Thirstea apart from other bubble tea spots is that their teas are very high quality and they lack the hint of artificial taste that can be found at some of the more common bubble tea places. This is no surprise since their ingredients include real loose teas and fruit pulps. They are aware of dietary needs (gluten free, vegan, etc.) and they have been generous enough to have their whole menu allergy labeled as well. They don’t just stop there. Thirstea offers about 30-40 different teas by the cup depending on their stock. With plenty of regulars, great people running the spot and a cool atmosphere, it is not surprising that their best items often run low due to demand.

It is definitely worth coming out to this little gem of a store to get some of the best tasting bubble tea and pick up some high grade packaged tea. Thirstea has been amazing enough to offer you guys a 10% off of any packaged tea when you mention that solifestyle sent you there till the end of September! Go check this spot out soon and spread the word!
