Mike Brun at Rockwood Music Hall

I can't remember a time when Mike wasn't writing and playing music. Which is saying something, because collectively Paul and I have known him for 33 years.

This past week, he performed some newly arranged jams at Rockwood Music Hall to an intimate crowd of enthusiastic fans. After attending Tulane University in New Orleans, his music is now heavily influenced by southern jazz and blues, which complements the tone of his voice in a very unique way. He's definitely one of our most talented friends - throughout the show he picked up a guitar, a bass, and even tickled the ivories.
