Make Music Winter's The Gaits: A High Line Soundwalk

Ever wish you lived in a musical? Well, The Gaits is a brand new free iPhone app created by composers that produces music as you walk. It basically turns your body into a big musical instrument. The High Line in Chelsea is celebrating the release of this app by encouraging you to download it, and take part in a parade along the entire elevated park, which is an easy one mile journey. The first 50 participants will be given wearable speakers, so they can broadcast their unique sounds to the crowd. The event is part of Make Music Winter, which is hosting a dozen participatory musical parades tonight, the first night of winter.
