threeASFOUR F/W 2013 @ The Hole

The stars aligned Wednesday night for

threeASFOUR's

presentation of their F/W 2013 collection at

The Hole

in NYC.

The looks were centered around the zodiac, with each ensemble representing a specific sign. The runway show, which was more of a performance, was choreographed as a "procession of the equinoxes." The Ophiuchus, who mythically brings healing and enlightenment, emerged first, and each girl followed suit. One by one the models made their way around the central figure (in the white mirrored coat below), interacting with her in various ways. Some sprinkled substances on her, others fanned her with feathers. Throughout the show, a man clad with pigtail braids played a loose classical tune. The show came to a close with all of the models surrounding the central Ophiuchus, who tolled a bell to end the presentation.

I loved the amazing creativity, use of unusual objects, and delicate, intricate headpieces the models wore over their beautifully braided hair. The styling and theatrics really put this show over the top. Can't wait to see what else threeASFOUR have up their mirrored sleeves for future seasons.
