The Nike Flyknit Trainer+ Running Shoe

Apparently it took Nike four years to develop the technology for the material of their new Flyknit Trainer+ sneakers.  The goal was to create an ultra light weight running shoe that fits your foot like a sock but still has support.  The resulting Nike Flyknit Trainer+ and Nike Flyknit Racer are some of the most comfortable and interesting shoes I've ever put on.

Following two incredibly limited HTM Flyknit runs, the GR version of the Flyknit does not have a Lunar sole but is still one of the most innovative sneakers released in the past few years.  Using Nike's Flywire and Zoom technologies to maintain structure and stability, and a one layer upper to reduce weight, a size 10 shoe weighs just over 8 ounces and fits like a glove.

Whether it's running, walking or urban exploring, the Flyknit is suited to basically any moving you are doing.  It provides more support and cushion than the very popular Free Run series without being bulky like the Air Max 2012.  Equally importantly, the shoe looks great too. The cutting edge material is interesting both in appearance and to the touch and the kicks will turn heads on the street in any of the 10 colors it released in.  A new gym shoe? Yes.  A new everyday wear? Certainly. The Flyknit was really worth the 4 year wait.

You can drop by your local Niketown to check stock or there are a handful of sizes left on
